Two front and one zippered chest pocket have easy grip pull cords and provide a secure place for storing and accessing smaller items.  Velcro cuffs allow you to wear thinner gloves under the sleeve or those with a gauntlet over the sleeve. Both the hood and the hem have drawstring cords for a more custom fit - all focused on keeping you dry.
