MTN Gear Shipping, Returns & Cancellations Policy

MTN Gear strives to provide a premier gear experience for our customers. Whether you rent, demo, purchase new or purchased used we work to make sure the gear you receive is in outstanding condition and ready for your adventures.

RENTAL & DEMO POLICIES

Shipping Policy

  • Shipping (both ways) is free for rental & demo orders over $150 and under 50 lbs. Please see below section regarding shipping timing and locations.
  • Shipping costs surcharges will be incurred for rental and demo order shipments that exceed 50 lbs.
    • The current heavy delivery shipping surcharge is $10 / shipment direction.
    • This shipment surcharge is subject to change and is based on shipment rate changes from our shipping providers.
  • Expedited shipping charges will be incurred for rental reservations made scheduled to arrive within 5 days of order.
    • The current expedited shipping surcharge is $10. This will be incurred for the delivery leg only. No expedited shipping is available for gear returns.
    • This shipment surcharge is subject to change and is based on shipment rate changes from our shipping providers.
  • Demo orders are shipped using standard three-day shipping methods.
  • Expedited shipping for demo reservations may be possible and is determined on a per order basis. Expedited shipping charges will be incurred for demo reservations that do not use the standard three-day shipping method.
    • The current expedited shipping surcharge is $10. This will be incurred for the delivery leg only. No expedited shipping is available for gear returns.
    • This shipment surcharge is subject to change and is based on shipment rate changes from our shipping providers.

Rental Cancellations and Modifications

  • Plans change! We offer a full refund if the rental reservation is cancelled more than 7 days in advance of first use day. There are no refunds if cancellations occur within 7 days of the first use day. There are no refunds for cancelled rush or expedited reservations.
  • All rental gear reservations are shipped to arrive at the prescribed address by 8PM the night before your first use day. In case the first use day is a Monday and a Sunday delivery is not possible the gear may arrive on Saturday. Please ensure an adult can receive package and gear can be stored in a secure location.
  • If you receive gear that you feel is faulty, damaged during shipment or if you believe gear is missing from your shipment, please contact [email protected] immediately. We will do everything possible to make sure your rental experience is positive.
  • If you would like to modify an existing reservation within 7 days of the first use day, there is no change fee for doing so. The price of your reservation will simply be modified to reflect the new gear reservation. If changes are desired within 7 days of first use day please contact us as changes may not be possible. Demo Cancellations and Modifications

  • Demo reservations are a fixed three-day period. The three-day use period begins the first full day after receipt of your gear.
  • Once a demo reservation is confirmed, no cancellations or modifications are permitted. MTN Gear processes demo reservations as soon after order confirmation as possible.
  • If you decide to purchase your gear at the end of the demo period, no returns on purchased gear are permitted once the purchase is completed.
  • If you receive gear that you feel is faulty, damaged during shipment or if you believe gear is missing from your shipment, please contact [email protected] immediately. We will do everything possible to make sure your demo experience is positive.

NEW & USED GEAR POLICIES

Shipping and Return Policy

  • Shipping is free for purchases over $75. Standard shipping for these orders is 3-day shipping.
  • Expedited shipping is free for orders over $250. Expedited shipping is defined as 2-day service. Overnight service may be available depending on circumstances such as geographic location and timing of order.
  • For orders under $75, shipping costs will be added to the order amount.
  • Returns of purchased NEW items are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Returns of NEW items are only accepted if the item is unused, with the original manufacturer tag still affixed to the garment.
  • There are no returns for USED purchases. All sales for USED gear and apparel are final. Please pay close attention to the article condition and description that accompanies each USED item online or in store. We clean and prepare all USED gear prior to sale.
