The Operator snow shovel from MSR is made of 6061-Aluminuim for extra strength while maintaining a lightweight composition. The spade is large enough to move massive amounts of snow when needed, whether for rescue or for basecamp. The telescoping shaft is ergonomically made for a balance of strength and comfort. The Operator has a signature, serrated edge, making chopping condensed snow easier.
